20 Martin Place, Sydney
The project involved the complete refurbishment of the existing 20 story 1970’s office building including stripping the building back to its structural shell and making substantial structural alterations including relocating the lift core and significant reconfiguration of the lower floor levels. One of the features of the building is a bespoke, high-performing and environmentally responsive glass facade which incorporates dichroic glass to create a beautifully luminous face to Martin Place while contributing to the building’s efficiency, achieving a 6-Star Green Star and 5-Star NABERS energy rating.
The project has now garnered ‘World Leadership’ status as a green building with a total score of 77 points awarded by the Green Building Council of Australia.
