Slattery is delighted to announce that Yemurraki Egan (Yemma) has joined our “Reconciliation Action Plan” working group, a committee established to implement initiatives to assist in the advancement of the national reconciliation movement. He is a proud Yorta Yorta, Wemba Wemba and Guditjmara man and Project Assistant for The University of Melbourne’s Estate Planning and Development department.
Slattery are nearing the end of our drafting process for our first Reconciliation Action Plan, titled ‘Innovate’. Over the last few months, Yemma has provided invaluable assistance and advice, helping to ensure Slattery’s formalised commitment demonstrates cultural awareness for First Nations peoples, their achievements and their continued struggle.
We are extremely thankful and appreciative to have Yemma join us on this journey and look forward to collaborating with him over the next two years.
