Western Harbour Tunnel and Beaches Link Roads & Maritime Services, NSW

The NSW Government is investigating the concept for a Western Harbour Tunnel and Beaches Link as a possible next stage for the Sydney Motorway Network. As announced by the Premier in March 2017, three work streams are being conducted to inform the development of the Program. The concept for the proposed Western Harbour Tunnel and Beaches Link program includes a new crossing of Sydney Harbour. This tunnel would connect between the WestConnex Rozelle Interchange and the Warringah Freeway in the North Sydney area. Beaches Link Tunnel would extend from the Warringah Freeway in the North Sydney area to the Balgowlah area and streamlining of the Warringah Freeway to accommodate Western Harbour Tunnel and Beaches Link and to improve current traffic flows. Slattery is providing cost and risk management for the program, through the business case development including Infrastructure NSW assurance reviews.
