F6 Extension – Stage 1 Roads & Maritime Services, NSW

The NSW Government has decided to progress the F6 Extension Stage 1 – New M5 Arncliffe to President Avenue, Kogarah to the next phase of the planning and project development. Roads and Maritime Services have now started community consultation for the project on the preliminary design. Roads and Maritime Services are proposing a four kilometre continuous twin tunnel. The north and south twin tunnels will connect with the new M5, 75 metres underground, passing under Rockdale to an interchange at President Avenue, Kogarah. The F6 Extension Stage 1 will be designed with a provision for a future extension south. Slattery is providing cost and risk management for the program, through the business case development including Infrastructure NSW assurance reviews.
