Circular Quay Redevelopment, NSW

Slattery was engaged by RPS to undertake probabilistic cost risk estimating for the redevelopment of Circular Quay on behalf of Transport for NSW for its Business Case. The works involved the re-construction of all six ferry wharves whilst maintaining full operational capability of the harbour at all times. The overall scope included upgrade of the existing promenade from the Overseas Passenger Terminal round to Sydney Opera House. The complexity of the project including constructing in a fully operational harbour with a World Heritage building and multiple residencies in close proximity to the works all has to be factored into the cost estimating. Options were undertaken to enable a fully integrated transport precinct including upgrade of Circular Quay railway station and connections to the new light rail network.
