Slattery is actively involved in the broader community. Our involvement is through sponsorship, volunteering, and contributing to social responsibility. Annually, we support several organisations and charities. We consider causes and projects on a project-by-project basis. With our ability to support contingent on workload opportunities within each office and the overall national team.
Slattery participates in the Chain Reaction Bike Ride Challenge annually. In previous years, the challenge has managed to raise up to $1M in donations, raising money for two very well respected and deserved charities; Very Special Kids and the Starlight Foundation. The money raised went towards the construction of the new hospice at Very Special Kids in Victoria.
Our Executive Chairman, Josh Slattery has participated in eight Chain Reaction Challenges, and Tom Dean, a Director, is also an active participant (2020 and 2021). The charity raises money for sick children by challenging executives to a 1,000 plus kilometre ride over 7 days. Slattery is always proud to be a Team Sponsor for the event, marking 10 years since our initial involvement with Chain Reaction.
