Slattery delivered full cost planning services through design and construction to this recently opened student accommodation facility on Victoria University’s Footscray Park campus. The accommodation provides 508 beds through a mix of single occupancy and multi-share apartments within a 12-storey building. The site includes a small retail component. There were challenges around hazardous material removal and site remediation works that needed to be considered within the budget. It was delivered through a partnership between the University and international philanthropists John and Marcy McCall MacBain’s foundation that supports education projects around the world.
