UTS GMP Lite Facility

Slattery was engaged by the University of Technology Sydney to provide full cost planning, value and cost management services on the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Lite Laboratory Facility at their Broadway Campus in Sydney. The facility is a joint venture with General Electric for the small scale commercial production of biological (algae) and pharmaceutical products, facilitating industry engagement and for use as a teaching space for the GMP Masters course.. Buried in a basement level of the Vicki Sara building, the new 432m GMP Lite (Good Manufacturing Practice) facility will offer latest technology to enable unmatched training and teaching opportunities, as well as cementing UTS as a global leader in research and development for algal biotech industries.

Slattery provided full QS services including cost planning, value management, procurement strategy advice and cost management.
