Rio Tinto Office Consolidation, Perth

Slattery was appointed by CBRE to deliver a new head office fitout for Rio Tinto’s Iron Ore business in Perth. The fitout needed to reflect the status of the company as a global leader and be suitable for occupation by 3,000 staff over a 30,000m² floor plate. The project sees their current building being refitted with staff being churned across floors as the upgrade works continue. The fitout will include a number of innovative workplace designs highlighting flexibility for employees and the capacity to expand and contract as necessary. Hassell were the appointed architect for the project.
