Epworth Eastern Hospital, Box Hill VIC

Slattery were engaged to work with Epworth HealthCare to deliver new clinical services and a medical consulting building adjacent to the main hospital site, of approximately 14 storeys. The podium integrates to the existing hospital with a tower above, set-back. The expansion will provide new operating theatres, over 50 overnight beds, multiple consulting suites, associated vehicle access and loading bays, a new Emergency Department in the existing Endoscopy space, and refurbishment to the ground floor to create new ED and associated drop-off including relevelling of the access ramps and driveway area. Basement car-parking will be used by ambulance vehicles with additional spaces for general car-parking.
