Slattery has been appointed to complete Australia Post’s next consolidation project. This involves 5 CBD located offices being relocated into a central space over 15 levels within Australia Post’s head office at 111 Bourke Street, Melbourne. The project sees Australia Post engaging in activity based working, completing a pilot floor to test fitout options. They are now methodically churning the office floors as refurbishment works occur. Slattery was also previously involved with Australia Post during their last office consolidation project at 180 Lonsdale Street. Due to changes in staff numbers, it was imperative upon Australia Post to relocate their team from various locations across Melbourne (CBD and inner urban) into one centrally-located building. The project comprised a full fit out of levels 21 to 26. The creation of this hub provided a more functional, modern and flexible workplace to align with Australia Post’s commercial accommodation standards and provide accommodation for approximately 950 people.
