The riders commenced on Saturday 8 March from Launceston. The ride passed through towns such as Swansea, Hobart and Tarraleah and also through the famous 99 Bends Road in Queenstown before returning to Melbourne on Saturday15 March following an overnight transfer on the Spirit of Tasmania.
