RMIT University Building 9, School of Media and Communications

This project saw the consolidation of the media and communications faculty within the city campus and the upgrade of teaching space and specialised equipment. Design included photography studios, a cyclorama projection including construction of a specialised room, sound and video editing, and studio pods for individual work. The project has gallery and exhibition space. This project saw RMIT’s first ever design and construct contract implemented. As part of this process Slattery introduced standardised reporting, specific to this new contract form, which has been continued on other projects.
