Slattery is incredibly proud to be appointed as the Quantity Surveyor supporting the State of Victoria’s bushfire recovery efforts by Bushfire Recovery Victoria.
Bushfire Recovery Victoria (BRV) is a new Victorian Government agency that’s partnering with local government and working with bushfire-affected communities to deliver what they need to recover from this season’s devastating bushfires.
Slattery has been appointed as Bushfire Recovery Victoria’s Quantity Surveyor for the Bushfire Clean-Up Program, working with BRV and Grocon (the Panel appointed Contractor). Our role is crucial to ensuring that Clean-Up Program works can proceed as quickly as practicable for bushfire affected communities and provide confidence that real value for money will be delivered, including but not limited to establishing budgets, reviewing subcontractor packages, and assessing contractor progress claims for the clean-up of the hundreds of properties destoryed by this seasons bushfires across the state.
This is one of many steps to recovery for these communities and we’re humbled to be able to contribute positively to the process.
