Belgrave Community Health Hub, VIC

A two-storey multipurpose hub situated in central Belgrave adjacent to the local cinema, co-locating aged and disability services, community, maternal and child health, allied health and education, youth, community arts programs and emergency relief set into a landscaped precinct including outdoor play, community gardens and parkland with 51 space car-park. The facility includes offices and multiple counselling/interview rooms. A key challenge of this project was the high level of asbestos in the existing site which essentially used up all the contingency of the project in the early months.
